The Impact of Lockdown On Mental Health

Did you know that 1/6 children require support for mental health since lockdown? Before the pandemic, it was 1/9.
The statistics show just how common it is for a child or young person to develop a mental health problem, who, if left undetected, will develop into increased risk on the adult social care system.
It's important that schools monitor the social, emotional, and mental health needs of all pupils and address them at an early stage. This helps schools to plan effective interventions and support activities where needed.
We are proud to be contributing to the needs of this wider piece of work.
